Who is responsible for your information?
BEGOSA LTD, trading as HanimişPati, is the controller of the personal information we process for this store. This notice explains our use of information when you browse the store, place an order or contact us.
Information we collect and its sources
We receive information directly from you when you place an order, enter checkout details, create an account where available, or contact us. This includes your name, email, telephone, shipping and billing addresses, order details, payment method and support correspondence. Payment providers process card information; we receive transaction status and the limited payment details needed to manage your order.
We and our service providers also collect technical and interaction data, such as IP address, browser/device details, identifiers, pages visited, cart and checkout activity and purchases, through cookies, pixels, logs and similar technologies. Information can also come from payment, delivery and advertising partners in connection with their services.
Why we use information and our legal grounds
- Orders and service: to process purchases, arrange delivery, confirm cash-on-delivery orders, manage returns and respond to requests, as necessary for a contract or steps you request before a contract.
- Legal compliance: to keep required transaction records and meet applicable tax, accounting and consumer-law duties.
- Security and administration: to prevent fraud, protect the store, resolve disputes and improve its operation, based on legitimate interests where permitted and balanced against your rights.

Recipients and service providers
We share relevant information with Shopify for store hosting, checkout and order management; payment providers for transactions; couriers and fulfilment/order-management services, including Porego, for delivery; and providers supporting customer service, store operation and professional or legal compliance. We may disclose information to competent authorities when lawfully required, or in a business transfer with appropriate safeguards.

Meta Pixel and Conversions API
We use Meta's Facebook and Instagram integration, including Meta Pixel and Conversions API, for advertising measurement and optimisation. Subject to applicable law and your choices, event information may include viewed products, cart/checkout activity, purchases, order value and currency, device/browser identifiers, and customer identifiers used to match events, such as hashed contact information. Hashing is a matching safeguard and does not make personal information anonymous. Conversions API sends events from server systems rather than solely through browser cookies; it remains subject to applicable privacy requirements. Cookies and your choices
Essential cookies support functions such as cart, checkout and security. Other cookies or similar technologies support preferences, analytics and advertising. Session cookies expire when your session ends; persistent cookies remain until their expiry or deletion. Where legally required, non-essential tracking requires your consent. Where a privacy-preferences control is displayed, use it to manage choices. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser, although some store features may then fail. Blocking browser cookies alone does not necessarily stop server-side processing; contact us to exercise applicable privacy rights.
You can unsubscribe from promotional email using its unsubscribe link or contact us. We may still send transactional messages necessary for an order or service request.
International transfers and retention
Our company is registered in the United Kingdom, serves customers in Türkiye and uses international providers. Information may be processed outside your country, including where Shopify, Meta and their providers operate. Where required, transfers must use the safeguards or other lawful mechanisms recognised by applicable data-protection law. Contact us for information about safeguards relevant to your data.
We retain information only as necessary for the stated purposes, including order fulfilment, support, legal record-keeping, fraud prevention and the establishment or defence of claims. The period depends on the record type and applicable legal duties; information no longer needed is deleted or anonymised where appropriate.
Your rights and complaints
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability, object to certain processing, and withdraw consent without affecting prior lawful processing. Under Turkish law, applicable rights include learning whether data is processed, its purposes and recipients, requesting correction or lawful deletion, and challenging harmful outcomes from exclusively automated analysis. We may need proportionate identity verification and will respond within applicable legal deadlines. Some requests are subject to lawful exceptions.

Security, children and changes
We use appropriate safeguards, but no system is completely secure. Please do not send full card details or unnecessary sensitive information through support messages.
